Herman Cain made clear Tuesday that he is ready to throw his support behind Mitt Romney, making no mention of his endorsement of Newt Gingrich.
I have always said I will support whoever the nominee is and it looks like Mitt Romneys going to be that nominee, and we do need to get behind him, Cain said on Fox News. I remind people all the time Keep your eye on the mission. And the mission is to get control of the Senate, maintain control of the House and defeat Barack Obama. That means get behind the nominee, so, yes, Im ready to get behind the nominee

I never trusted Cain
Wait a minute, did Cain say Romney or “the nominee” because FOX pulled that earlier.
Thin crust, pepperoni, extra bacon with two kinds of cheese and some wings...
Definitely sounds like indigestion.
Looks like I had Herman sussed up early on.
A case of tums to digest it all
So now we all must hate Herman Cain? I had planned on voting for him earlier in the Primary.
I believe Cain is a good man.
Politics is just not his strong suit.
He is a great speaker and motivator and I would like to see him do that in the future.
On a side note, I think people upset with Santorum pulling out, might want to hold judgement unless they have walked in his shoes. He may not be getting out because he sees imminent defeat. He may be getting out for close personal reasons. I can’t imagine what him and his family is going through.
I recall reading he said he would back the nominee. After Santo suspended his campaign Cain now may not be thinking jumping off Newt’s ship.
Can’t believe some of you fools are falling for another BOGUS Politico headline meant to DEMORALIZE us ABR folks now that Newt has a chance to defeat Romney again.
The article clearly states he will support whoever the nominee is, not that he’s endorsing Romney now. This is the same thing Palin and every Republican has said.
It’s not news.
Neither did I, for all the trouble it caused by saying so. What is he doing now anyway? Of course, he said this before Rick dropped out.
If he cannot handle family issues, how can he balance a possible war with Iran and the federal government needing overhauled...that is not emotions/judging, that's common sense...
I’m glad somebody caught that.Looks as if there are still plenty of rombots that need to be weeded out on FR.
Just to let you both know. There is a great new Newt chat at grassroots.newt.org .
Pray for Newt! And send money. This is not over.
Cain could have emphasized that he was with Newt all the way and preferred Gingrich as the nominee..he never mentioned Newt.
