That thought crossed my mind. Not that they know, for a fact, but if he's not charged, they are out of work.
I wouldn’t say they are out of work.
They should be preparing several hundred large law suites.
But if he's not charged, then there is a whole lot of money to be made by some lawyer suing the pants off of everyone in sight.
If he is not charged, there is a gazillion dollar payday in there for Zimmerman, and his attorneys would stand to get 30-40% of that. Sue NBC, ABC, and the New Black Panthers(slim pickings there, but keeping them broke for a generation or so would be a public service of great importance).
If he is charged and found not guilty, the payday is still there.
I can not imagine his lawyers being so stupid as to forget about this payday.
Only if he is found guilty is there no payday, and from what evidence has been seen so far, only the most incompetent lawyer in all of Florida could lose this case, no matter how much of a loose cannon Zimmerman is.
I bet if we parse every word of the lawyers' statements, all they are doing is asking him to call them...
