I attended a gunshow Friday and Saturday in my area. The theme seemed to be that AR weponry will double in value by the inauguration. Rifles and home defense weaponry (Mossberg 930 SPX type shotguns, hi cap pistols, etc.) were the most popular items, but ammo was not moving as well as in January. Also the holo sights and laser hang ons seemed popular. I sold three items very quickly toward the end of the Saturday show. My AR pistol was fondled by many and a Winchester 1300 with ghost ring sight and heat shield sold within minutes of my bringing it into the show. The lightweight AR I built caught lots of attention for ' handling ease for the others in the household'. Interestingly, AKs were not popular this show. Several guys walking WASRs around couldn't find buyers.

Folks seem to sense what is on Obama's agenda for this dying Republic, even the black guy VET I spoke with. Many do not have faith that honest elections will happen in November. And the food storage business at the show was brisk.
