All gun control laws violate the right to bear arms. They do nothing to stop criminals from getting guns.
Absolutly true. However, the 2nd amend was not about protecting yourself against individual criminals. It was written so that we can protect ourselves against the biggest criminal organization in the country - a tyrannical government.
