Conrad is spouting the Obama campaign theme that the Reps will take us back to the policies that created the Great Recession.

That has to be a dem chatting point since Dirty Dick durbin told the same thing to DNC dave. still won't wash. It's like saying hi we are the new commies in the neighborhood would you rather have us or those evil capitalists, only they never phrase it just like that,LOL!!

Your graphs show the Austerity Measures are coming as Democrats can only offer that illusion it can’t happen here by not facing having to pass a budget.

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/austerity.asp#axzz1rT7cS8RS
Definition of ‘Austerity’
A state of reduced spending and increased frugality in the financial sector. Austerity measures generally refer to the measures taken by governments to reduce expenditures in an attempt to shrink their growing budget deficits.

Dear Lord I watched Debbie Washerwoman on Candy Crowley....this woman lies so much it’s beyond humorous.

Crowley did remind her that Obamer said that by this time his stimulus would have our unemployment below 6%. She answers that it was all Bush’s fault and on and on.

I ask myself, why do I watch this? Nothing I do changes anything.

This Trayvon Martin thing, which by now appears as if it will die on the vine. But still, my daughter visits last week, I open the discussion on this matter.

She shouts and screams that Zimmerman was a racist vigilante, that cute little Trayvon was just walking down his street. She shouted at me that it’s my great dislike of Obama that has me defending Zimmerman. And on it went.

Over the weekend we managed, softly, to discuss the matter more but she believed the ABC tape showing Zimmerman with no cuts or gashes, she believed the NBC audio showing Zimmerman as a hater of blacks with the race of a suspect paramount on his mind.

Over this past week, as NBC and ABC were exposed, she’s softened a little bit but she harrumphs that Zimmerman was a bit of a nut and shouldn’t oughta be following people around, that’s for the police, that a young man is dead because of his obsession.

And my daughter, she got at least some exposure to the truth from me. This is why Rush calls them the drive-by medias for God’s sake. They inflict their damage and move on.

We not only have the Democrats against us, our own Republicans against us, the major media against us....come on!

If I sound down, well I am. But know I will get over it.

Sometimes you gotta take a breather, take stock, re-assess.

Thank y’all for tolerating me.

Thanks son.

This guy was one of the best fishermen we have down here and had the nack to get it all on film and make it look great for 22 minutes.

I recall one time we had a dead whale floating down the Gulfstream. We let him know and he dove all around it by the time it hit key west just so he could see the 13 foot tiger sharks feasting on it.

He was fearless.

The Democrats never accept majority rule when it comes to decisions they disagree with. They just use the courts to overturn majority rule. They never take no as the final answer. It is one of the reasons why they are winning. Nothing is ever settled until they win.

Sheesh. And an 89 year old with severe dementia, as Larry King so inartfully pointed out early on in an interview with Candy Crowley.

What a doofus! First, I did NOT know that Mike Wallace had severe dementia, this is the sort of thing folks like to keep kind of quiet. Larry King launched into a long description about Wallace and it was really in bad taste.

Frankly I got to wonder, forget Obamacare, but would I even approve such a procedure on a person in full blown dementia at age 89, dear Lord.

But hey, I wasn’t there, and I will fight forever for the right of family and doctors to make such decisions.

I had a heart bypass...quadruple. It ain’t the stuff for demented 89 year olds, I tell ya.

Obama has been using it as well in his campaign speeches. The theme for 2012 is we can’t go back to the policies that got us in this mess in the first place. Obama will still be campaigning against Bush in 2012.

Good luck on the meeting, bray. Very cowardly to do this behind your back, but that’s the way they play the game.

I believe you, but when deeply hurt sometimes we reach out for someone to blame. I don’t believe Newt should be blamed and neither do I believe ugly comments about his son should be made on this board.

The Greeks denied reality until it was really too late to do anything about it except reduce pensions by 20%, reduce the number of government employees dramatically, cut the minimum wage in half, etc. That still hasn't worked and won't work because the people will not implement or accept the austerity measures. Portugal, Spain, and Italy are not far beyond. Denial just ain't a river in Egypt.

IMO the American people don't have the political will to accept the sacrifice and pain that will be necessary. The Dems will continue to demagog the issue and take political advantage of the two in three Americans who receive a check from or depend on the government, i.e., 200 million

"A record 49 percent of Americans live in a household where someone receives at least one type of government benefit, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. And 63 percent of all federal spending this year will consist of checks written to individuals for which the government receives currently no services, the White House budget office estimates. That’s up from 46 percent in 1975 and 18 percent in 1940.”

Great post this is their slickness/MO. They have set up whomever rules next time around for a host of time bombs that will all blow up at around the same time. Its all how you handle it. If obama care is truly dead one can only imagine what they will invent to take its place. That thought alone is truly scary.

Did we all think that treasury could keep buying 60% of the debt forever? Can't happen.

"Not going back to the policies that got us here and bus in the ditch" are so easy to counter if we just get the right people doing it.--Sarah,Marco,this will not even be a challenge for them.

Easy choice capitalism vs.communism, not to hard to figure.

I agree with you that the left never gives up, and thouught that when reading FT’s pondering soliloquy. Good example: Kenya in 2007 election. Obama went over there as a U S Senator, worked for his cousin Odinga. Kenya has a large Christian majority. Very small Muslim pop. Dispite O’s best efforts, the majority won election. But Muslims went on a rampage, burning churches (with peple in them, etc.). Forced a “power sharing” arrangemenent. O’s cousin had secretly agreed to push Sharia law. O also intervened after becoming President to force Kenya to adopt abortion rights in their Constitution and used USA money to get that passed. Let’s not lose this because we are too nice. Never give up. Teach the children and grandchcyd to fight. Be Sarah Conner.
