Considering that Florida went winner-take-all against GOP rules and the RNC did nothing to correct the numbers, I say, “Go for It Texas!”

*******************

Fair point, but the RNC operates pretty much as the DNC does at this endgame stage. The GOP nomenklatura will impose Bishop Willard on the two thirds of the base who distrust or dislike or detest him. Mark my words, they will NOT allow Texas what they allowed Florida.

Is the RNC in the bag for Obama? Because Romney cannot win the election. He loses the liberals because Obama is more familiar. Conservatives either stay home or hold their noses and vote for him, despite knowing he's just a white-skinned Obama. Then he loses another 20-25% of voters, because they don't trust Mormons. He gets the handful who don't care he's a Mormon and don't care that he's an extreme liberal. That's like one-eighth of the vote.

This is JUST like 2008.
