Wrong. When GWB ws President, we had a few enlisted who didn’t want to deploy because GWB was ‘selected, not elected’. Facing jail time, they deployed. And everyone was reminded that you do NOT make political statements while in uniform, or an civilian clothes if you have identified yourself as military.
