Perhaps they do. Maybe some people just like velvet Elvis or dogs playing poker. A fool and his money are soon parted, but don't go around claiming it's "fine art." It's a canvas reprint that Kinkade's lackeys "handtouched" and then stamped his signature on before charging $1500. Its resale value is about $250 and that's including the frame.

As one of my teachers told me, "It's worth what people will pay for it." Kind of like a stock. Kinkade paintings were a bubble market that popped.

You are talking about the fools that bought a Kinkade as an investment.
How about the other millions that just liked the look of his paintings?
I know i sure do, there is about a hundred i wish i lived in.

We are not all art investors, sometimes people, believe it or not just buys a painting that they believe will look good in their den or living room.
