Colonel Davy Crockett:

am sorry to say I do doubt the honesty of many men that are called good at home, that have given themselves up to serve a party. I am no man's man. I bark at no man's bid. I will never come and go, and fetch and carry, at the whistle of the great man in the white house, no matter who he is. And if this petty, un-patriotic scuffling for men, and forgetting principles, goes on, it will be the overthrow of this one happy nation, and the blood and toil of our ancestors will have been expended in vain. Greetings xzins:

Chaps, respectfully disagree on two counts. Heard that story concerning Juan McLame too.

First, Davy Crocket would have never envisioned the subversive, anti-US Constitution organization known as the ACLU; let alone believe that a former ACLU head might ascend to SCOTUS Justice. Our times are quite different.

Second, had McLame beat 0bama, we might have two decent SCOTUS appointments. Instead we are stuck with two young hyphenated-american judical activists. Should Myth win the GOP ticket, we might see the appointment of an “Originalist” SCOTUS Justice; guaranteed this isn’t going to happen under a second 0bama term.

It appears we both prefer voting for a candidate, rather than against a candidate. But our decision matrix choices aren’t lining up that way now. We must not forget: we’re only one vote away from judicial tyranny.

Cheers,
OLA
