I’m not arguing ObaMao’s penchant for taking credit for what he has not done.
He follows a long line of politicians...
Gore
Clinton
etc. etc.

I am living in a time warp.
A sitting president of the United States uttering words my beer drinking reefer smoking liberal associates argued 20 plus years ago after our weekly softball games in the bar.
Difference is they stopped smokin and stopped drinkin and grew up to become adults.
Sad how debase we have allowed our leaders to become and by extension the masses who will never learn nor understand the difference

Which government agency funded Facebook? Which one funded Google? I could tell you, but then...

Yeah...there was some time spent in public school...but he transferred to a private school.
Even while he was in public school - his father taught him beginning programming at home - then hired a tutor to keep up with him.
This had everything to do with amazing natural intellect that was nurtured with private sources.

Looks like we are both right.

Oh, this is no big deal. All presidents say things like that.
"If it weren't for governmen tomahawks and flintlocks wouldn't exist." - Tommy Jiafrason
"If it weren't for government hay wagons and cotton gins wouldn't exist." "And, uh, peanut butter." - al-Abrahim Poindexter Linkin
"If it weren't for government big sticks and handle bar mustaches wouldn't exist." - Teddy "Fatwa" Rosaveldt

He forgot the part where he’s supposed to say, “No one could get to work if it weren’t for the roads built by the government!”
Must have been a glitch in the teleprompter.

the Ryan budget is of an America where everybody is fending for themselves, a few are doing very well at the top, and everybody else is struggling to get by.Coming from the guy whose family has taken more huge vacations on our tab in three years than most people will take in a lifetime.

As always, Hussein Obama is an idiot. Government funded the basic initial infrastructure that was ARPANET primarily as an investment in national defense infrastructure. All of the good and marvelous things that have come from what became the internet came from investment by business, and innovation by individuals. The internet is a great example of how a small infrastructure can go into great things as long as the government stays out of the way. The real key to the growth of the internet and the services you can find there is that for the most part the government
stayed out of the way beyond that small initial investment in basic research and infrastructure.
Hey FedGov, get out of our freaking way, and eat our dust!
Imagine what would happen to the U.S. economy if we could finally get FedGov off our backs.
