The North Koreans have been forced to eat grass and tree bark, with reports of some even eating their babies in order to avoid starvation. In the mid to late nineties hundreds of thousands of North Koreans died from starvation (see the book, "Nothing to Envy"). How is it that Kim Jong-un grew up as a fat, pasty kid in a nation of mass starvation? Quite an overt contrast that displays the problem, eh?
