As you likely know to get to the observation floor (42nd or so of the 52) of the Terminal Tower one must change elevator banks about 2/3s of the way up. When we were kids we'd slip into the stairwell at that point and hoof it up to where the building actually came to a point.

The top two stories were a spiral staircase that took us to a small diameter platform from which we could exit the building through glass windows to stand on a narrow railed ledge. We'd moon our GFs who were watching from the street and spit at Public Square. Then we'd take the stairs all the way down to ground level bounding ten steps at a time.

Blacks didn't wear hoodies in those days. Lime green shoes with yellow slacks etc were more the fashion.
