Romney is getting a bad rap regarding the car elevator at his “mansion” in La Jolla. It is a beach house, not a mansion. It is not that big and it is on a public street. Anybody can drive right by the house. It is not on a private road or behind a security gate. Parking is very limited in that neighborhood. He wants to tear down the old house and build a new one on the lot. He has a large family and they need more than a two car garage. The only way to park a few cars there is to go underground. The local contractors in San Diego need the work and he will pay with his own money. He is paying tons on property taxes that help the local schools. Compare this to the $10 million dollars of taxpayer money used to fly Moochelle 0bamas fat ass around on her vacations.

I don’t care if he tears down a $50 million house to build a $100 million one. His wealth is not the issue with me. The issues are his love of abortion, sodomites, socialized medicine, taxes, and liberalism in general. And they are insurmountable.

I just don’t understand conservatives bashing success. He’s building it with his own money. He’s not running around the planet with an entourage on the taxpayers dime

Romney’s is one of less than 40 beach houses in La Jolla, worth a cool $12 million, with basement garage space for a least a dozen cars. Mitt plans to greatly expand the the current 3000 sq. ft. living space.
