Two days after losing three more primaries, Rick Santorum appears to be in trouble in his home state:
Mitt Romneys taken the lead in PPPs newest poll of Rick Santorums home state of Pennsylvania. Romney has 42% to 37% for Santorum with Ron Paul at 9% and Newt Gingrich at 6%. The numbers represent a dramatic turnaround from when PPP polled the state a month ago. Romneys gained 17 points, going from 25% to 42%. Meanwhile Santorums dropped 6 points from 43% to 37%, for an overall swing of 23 points in the last four weeks.

With Romney at the front...or the perception being pushed that he is....either way Americans are voting for a heathen king....Romney and Obama both fit that bill.
I would most certainly vote for Santorum in November if he got that far, since he is a pro-life Christian and better than Obama in every respect. That’s all I need in November.
But I will not have that opportunity; not that RS is entirely or even largely to blame for that.
Romney will not get my vote in November.
Nothing rises from the ashes until there’s ashes.
I hope you've written the RNC and every possible individual who might be improved by your message, that you will not vote for Romney, on principle, and they'd better reconsider.
Good question.
I really don't know what I’m going to do if, as seems likely, Romney is the Republican nominee. In my state we have a complex caucus system and it's far from clear how the delegates will break down. I am doing what I can locally, but recognize that no matter what I do it will probably not be enough.
For now I'm still focusing on the nomination. I'll deal with the issue of Romney as the nominee if and when he get the nomination.
I understand, but it isn’t just voters who are elevating Romney. Superdelegates are going to assist. You and enough other people writing thoughtful letters may help avert the disaster.
Couldn’t hurt.
Do not go gentle, as they say.
People have to assess who is the greater threat to America, and by extension the world. There are things that I don’t like about Romney, but reality dictates that there is no perfect candidate. Romney isn’t a Marxist, has no ties to Soros, no ties to terrorists, no ties to the Tides Foundation, etc. But Obama does.
I am extremely sad at Santorum’s departure, but since that is the reality, I will vote for Mitt.
