I wonder if this kid was emboldened by some of the rhetoric coming from the LGBT community stemming from the Tyler Clementi case in new Jersey. Tyler Clementi was an 18 year old Rutgers freshman who committed suicide his first month of college by jumping off the George Washington Bridge after learning that his roommate had spied on him with a webcam.

It was later revealed that Tyler had complained that his mother did not accept the fact that he was gay when he came out to his parents days before arriving at Rutgers.

There has been much criticism of the mother by the LGBT community accusing her of being abusive and hateful almost to the verge of calling her rejection of his gayness a crime in itself while at the same time showing no mercy to the roommate convicted of a hate crime in the case.

If they could, I think the LGBT community would want to criminalize parental disapproval of gayness. They're starting by assigning shame on the parents and others who fail to accept children who "come out." The next step is to make it a hate-crime to "disapprove."

The mother in this Arkansas case who was brutally attacked will be attacked a second time by the LGBT extremists who will shame her for failing to accept her son "for who he is" and blame her for practically stabbing herself since her rejection of the boy's gayness forced the boy to try to kill her.

The kid will walk, the mother will apologize to him for not accepting his gayness and forgive him for trying to kill her and he will forgive her for not accepting him "for what he is." They'll both be on Oprah and it will be the feel good story of the year.
