Call me an ol’ softie (or a traitor to the cause), but I can live with the concept of kids who never known anything but America as their home being granted a pass on their parents’ misbehavior. But the rules have to stipulate that they not become wards of the state. They need to have sponsors, legal friends or family members (or charitable individuals or organizations) to ensure that we the taxpayers don’t end up supporting them.

And our country can't afford it.

Call me an ol softie (or a traitor to the cause), but I can live with the concept of kids who never known anything but America as their home being granted a pass on their parents misbehavior The kids get to inherit legal status thanks to the crimes of their parents. They get to go to our schools for free and get affirmative action and cheap tuition at the expense of our native population. They also get to become anchors to help their criminal parents stay in the US and receive welfare. And when they become citizens, they will naturally vote for the socialist ... er Democrat Party.
You think you area patriot but you have no sense of patria. You think you are a nationalist, but you give away our birthright. Your stipulations about welfare area joke. We will never create or enforce them. Stop coddling those who have successfully invaded.
Not that it should matter, because a 18th generation WASP has the same right to stand up for this country as I do, but both of my parents were legal immigrants who became naturalized citizens.
