Time to get over it and either find something to like about Mitt and get behind his nomination or just vote for him as a total anti-Obama vote.

Seeing him as the anti-Obama vote is just an excuse, not a reason, to vote for him. In the end, you're still voting for a liberal.

Going back to 1988, we've had nothing but moderate/liberal Republican nominees who are there because it's "their turn" or because they have the most money, or both, and their accomplishments since 1988 consist of expanding the size, cost, and power of the government, losing to Democrats, or opening up the way for their successors to lose to Democrats.

Mitt Romney would be a fine addition to that 24 year collection of liberal Republicans, but he'll be doing it without my vote. I'm done voting for liberal Republicans simply because they got the nomination.

Indeed...Romney is a Democrat, and I will not be voting for him...

...Obama graciously thanks you for your support...

And those who support homosexuals, gun control, and the murder of infants will be welcoming your support should you vote for Romney. Rommney has a tradition of appointing incredibly liberal judges the one time he's actually won an election, and the libs are drooling over the thought.

Using your example that’s 25 years of history.
Might be time to recognize reality and not stomp away in frustration. Even Rush said any of the Repub nominees are better then the current Illinois refuge President. It’s true no matter how much you may have preferred one over the other.

Besides, its more important to do what you can to vote decent conservatives at the local level. From that base maybe a decent Presidential nominee will appear!

Oh I'll vote for Republicans if they are the most Conservative candidate available, but I'm not going to vote for Republicans simply because they are Republicans.

Because voting for Republicans simply because they are Republicans has left us in really bad shape. They haven't slowed down our progress towards socialism, they have only increased the size, power, and expense of government, and they manage to lose to Democrats or turn the White House over to Democrats far too often.

Nope. I'm done voting for liberals with (R) next to their name just because the GOP tells me to. And I'm in damn good company:

The answer is "neither".

Saying Romney is more conservative than Obama is like saying it's better to drown in 20 feet of water rather than 30 feet of water.
