Ya, WHO DO we complain to? I've been picking up and immediately hanging up. At least I don't have to listen to those god-awful calls.
Whenever I get a robo call I immediately place the phone down somewhere and walk away, letting the recording drone on. I figure I may as well waste at least some of their time and maybe help prevent 1 or 2 less robocalls if one of their lines is tied up.
Another tip: Whenever I get a live solicitation call anywhere near dinnertime, I politely say to the caller, "Hey, can you hold on for just a sec...?" I then put the phone down and forget about it until later, when the phone starts making those loud, busy-signal noises.
