Certainly. At this point it is perfectly legitimate to believe that Zimmerman committed no crime. It is also legitimate to believe that, even if your "gut" tells you he may have, there isn't actual evidence of that. We may well learn something more - the police have obviously not released all that they know. But those who shrilly assert that it is "obvious" that Zimmerman is guilty, in my view, are basing that conclusion on something other than evaluating the known facts. And my saying that is not "defending Zimmerman."

If the cops really believed (based upon the evidence at hand) that they had a case, they would have arrested him.
A “suspiction” is no reason to put a man on trial for murder, or even manslaughter.
