Yes, but are you smart enough to know that the code word exists, and that other people fall for it? If so, why did you bother posting in the first place? Because all the original poster was saying is that it is a code word, and that the MSM intentionally used it to trick people into thinking Martin was killed for being black in a rich, white neighborhood.
What I’m lamenting here is that there actually are FREEPERS who can’t see though the media meme, and actually are falling for the crap, and equate in their minds “gated community” exclusively with “mansion”. It’s idiocy.

Oh, come off it. They aren’t coming to that conclusion, if you could read their post through the haze of superiority and self-satisfaction at being able to take the words “gated” and “community” literally. And in order to do that, which you’d understand if took a moment to ponder it, they’d have to realize “gated community” has a literal and a coded meaning, wouldn’t they?

Scroll up. Posts 76, 86, 95 are post where I’m being told “gated community = rich white people in mansions”... and to that, I say “bovine digestive byproduct” — because they’re not. The location of this incident is a gated community consisting of apartments & condos. There are places in this country that call themselves “gated communities” that are made up of condos/apartments/townhomes/ and even mobile homes.
It is bigoted, prejudice, and perpetuation of the media meme and stereotype to assume any mention of “gated community” equates exclusively to “ rich white people in mansions” .

I hear “gated community”, and the LAST PLACE my mid goes is “mansions with rich white people living in them”. THE LAST PLACE... not the first.
