The “Volt,” however is a status symbol, a signal to his peers where his heart really is. Our upper crust are really into this global warming thing.

I got a new Camry, small enough? I could almost bought two of them for the price of a Volt.

Right. I try to save money and keep regular expenses down in any reasonable way I can. But even with a huge tax-payer subsidy, a Chevy Volt is an unimaginably stupid way to save money.

This is nothing but a politically correct, greenie gesture. Only someone with more money than he knows what do do with would do this.
