Heather Mac Donald has no fondness for crime including illegal immigration. She's a regular contributor at City Journal which is no lefty hang out.

I don't know what possessed her during that first paragraph, as I have been reading and posting her essays for quite a few years. I was probably linked to City Journal from NRO while Buckley was still alive.
