Keith Olbermann has a Traumatic Head Injury that nobody wants to talk about and it explains his erratic, angry and sometimes violent demeanor. Years ago he ran into a steel girder. This is how it's explained in Wikipedia:

In August 1980, he also suffered a head injury while "leaping" onto the NYC subway.[104] This head injury permanently upset his equilibrium, resulting in his avoidance of driving.[8]
