I read it was for his younger brother, maybe it said nephew.

And when the father came home - there was no police tapes around the shooting? He saw or heard ‘nothing’? He didn’t call his mother? When he got no response from his son, he had no compulsion to go look for him but go to bed and sleep soundly? What time did he go out for dinner that he came home around 10:30 or so? He left his son at home and didn’t invite him? Wasn’t the time of the shooting around 7pm? A walk to the store and back takes how much time? A half an hour at best?

I agree. His last account/report of that night is weak.

I wonder how far the girlfriend’s townhouse is from the area of the shooting - if they would have had to drive where they would have seen lights and police activity - or if that was over by the time they got back.

Did they not hear anything about a shooting from neighbors before they began to make calls and try to find Treyvon? The little brother was left home supposedly, and heard no shots or sirens that he would mention to the adults?

The father wasn’t physically present.

He was in another location with his girl friend.
