That was my point. The article says reports say Martin started the fight - but there are no such reports. AFAIK, and according to all the reports and witness statements I have seen; nobody but Zimmerman or Martin saw what started the fight - and Martin is dead.

So again......

We don't know that for sure. There were six plus statements initially taken at the scene of the incident. Others taken later. (Content has not been posted)

If John's 911 is not on the list they posted there may be others. This is an open investigation. Material is being held back.

Part of me wants it to go to court. BUT not a jury. Expect the autopsy and clothing would be enough to clear Z.

There are no known cases of violence by Martin but there are several known cases of violence by Zimmerman (as an adult). It is also known, via Zimmerman's call, that Zimmerman followed Martin but that Martin avoided a confrontation by running. Nobody here has any genuine knowledge about what happened after that call and before the 911 calls that reported the fight already in progress.
