Rick Santorum is often attacked here and by other conservatives often, it’s mind boggling.
Living near his hometown, I will tell you that I don’t have a good feeling about Rick being able to carry PA in our primary. He was trashed for the Specter thing, even though Toomey is now being criticized by conservatives, too.
What confuses and worries me the MOST is seeing our side continually trashing any candidate on our side. There is absolutely no consensus on a candidate, but we seem to want to try to find the ‘perfect’ non-existent conservative.
Rubio was very beloved until this. Now that he’s endorsed Romney, he’s being called a rino.
I really hope that we ALL see the danger of another 4 years of Obama.
The way the PA Yankee won in the South impressed me and he will put to the test whether a conservative running as a conservative has a chance against the GOP-e RINO money and power.
Toomey knows how liberal people in PA really are, and I know James Carville once said most of the state was like northern AL, but Toomey is hedging his bets for 2016. Three is a huge opposition to Santorum from most Republicans, it seems.
Santorum was in Gettysburg last week and an enormous crowd turned out for him.
