I’m sorry but that is absolute 100% BS! The establishment wanted Crist. The tea party was in at it’s height, they are the ones that got Rubio elected, it sure was NOT the GOP establishment. The fought for Crist until the end when they knew he had little chance.
Rubio was hyped as a “Tea Party” candidate by the GOP Establishment and many drank the Kool Aid presented through the media.
