This is ridiculous! I doubt anyone under the age of 40, even knows ‘coon’ is an archaic slur. In “Gran Torino”’ Clint Eastwood had to use ‘spook’ because the n word is too controversial. Spook is another ancient slur no longer used in common language. This thought crime crap is crazy!

According to published reports, the young man was walking home from school when two black teenagers attacked him on his way home.

“We were told it’s a hate crime,” the boy’s mother Melissa Coon told KTLA. “They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open. (One of them) poured the gasoline, then flicked the Bic, and said, ‘This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy.’”
