Actually, a Gingrich/Santorum or Santorum/Gingrich ticket would be AWESOME!!!!! I wish they would join to defeat the inevitable choice. Together they trounce both Romney and Obama easily.
I agree. I'm no Gingrich fan but could vote for him with minimal pain.
Funny thing is that the things I dislike about him are exactly the things I think would make him an ideal Santorum VP choice. He has the aggression and drive to wield the whip over congress and its doubtless that he would have a great deal of impact in a Santorum administration. Santorum has the diplomatic temperament but is also tougher than we give him credit for. He's already shown toughness in dealing with the media that we all wish George Bush had shown.

If Santorum wins the nomination, we lose to Obama no matter how you try to dress it up. It’ the same scenario of McCain/Palin. Palin attracted strong Conservatives, but lost moderates and Independents.
And McCain lost the Moderates and Indies, becuase the MSM launched a flashy, Vogue, Obama = Greek God theme. Which swooned the Mods and Indies.

When I think about how well they would represent most of our Ideals together I can’t help smiling. You are right, they both offer what each other is missing (does that make sense?). Together, they are the perfect candidate. I would gladly vote for them together no matter the order.
