Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story. Good stories sell newspapers, get eyeballs watching breathless reporters tell the story in between toilet paper commercials, and spawn sub-plots that in turn sell, sell, sell. It’s the American way.
It's interesting. When I worked in industry, we were constantly having to focus on who our market was. That was how, after all, we made money. The mainstream media apparently doesn't consider that. I mean, do they really think that anyone in Trayvon's neighborhood will actually buy a paper?
Meanwhile, they've lost us. You'd think the media owners would wise up after a while.
