“Republicans have in recent weeks waged an all-out blitz against President Barack Obama over the issue of gas prices,”

If this is the Republican idea of a “all-out blitz” its no wonder we are getting no where fast!

I agree...the GOP has been quite docile on this issue. But, maybe thats for the best. Fuel prices are something that is "in the voters face' every day. They see fuel prices every time they pass a gas station and feel fuel prices every time the fill their tanks or buy groceries. Republican candidates don't need to appear as though they are cheering on high fuel prices...Let the blogosphere and talk radio do that for them.

Exactly…There is no amount of lies and deception by Obama and his media that would decrease the high anxiety and anger of the majority of voters due to high gas prices and the high consumer goods prices caused by high gas prices…

One problem with your thinking... to be the man... you have to beat the man... and one must attack the dims on every issue and at every opportunity and their attacks on us must be met with counterattacks that are tenfold. IF obama and the dims had left Bush alone and always depended upon the public to interpret events (rightly or wrongly) and reason their own well being against those events... obama would never have been elected and the dims would never have swept the government in 2006... but “new tone” is surrender by another name... and it does not smell like a rose. One thing... we can destroy them with the truth but all that they have are lies. One more thing... Newt is the only candidate that will do what I have suggested... mitt and Rick have both vowed not to.
