Trayvon parents: Son disrespected even in death ("They've killed my son"...and his reputation)

(CBS/AP) SANFORD, Fla. - Prior to a march and rally to be held marking one month since a Florida teenager was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer, the parents of Trayvon Martin defended their son and decried reports that offered contrary accounts of the confrontation.

Speaking after a community forum held at a Baptist church in Eatonville, the parents were emotional in the wake of a news report published in the Orlando Sentinel that said George Zimmerman had been attacked by the 17-year-old, and an Associated Press report that Trayvon had been suspended from school because of an empty plastic baggie found in his book bag which tested positive for traces of marijuana.

"Even in death, they are still disrespecting my son," said Tracy Martin, "and I feel that is a shame."

"They've killed my son, and now they're trying to kill his reputation," said Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton.

So let’s just say a kid is standing outside a little old lady’s house—she sees him, comes out and said “What are you doing?” He looks startled and walks away—or maybe flips her off-if she comes out on the sidewalk after him and said “I’m talking to you, young man” he can turn around and whip her a$$?

No, but what was the kid doing in your scenario to prompt her to act?

If the selfish parents would have been together and on him, it may have turned out different (but hey, sometimes things don’t work out); IF Dad knew what his kid had been doing (suspended, again), did he not think about the neighbors getting robbed or did he think he wouldn’t dare and he could straighten him out... when he wasn’t locked up with the ‘fiancee’/s.

So, where’d he get the grip for gold fronts and all those tats?

Oh, and btw:

http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/03/26/2714778/thousands-expected-at-trayvon.html

She’s going to the house re: changing the law tomorrow? (pg.2)

How about the racist teacher, then the black thugs who lit the white boy up?... will she be there with ya?

In Chicago, they had over ten during the weekend, black on black, and?

I would like someone to ask why the parents took down his sites and pushed those ‘younger pics’?

Do you mean you would defend against a person walking behind just observing you when there is no law against it? Why? It appears from the reports coming out now that Martin was the first attacker.

Funny how speculation is still out on BOTH sides of this case, but I should be the one to silence speculation until ALL of the facts come out, which I will now do until that happens.

Yes this gentleman who is a friend of Zimmerman’s is a very nice, sincere guy. In the interview I saw the reporter kept badgering him how can he say Z acted in self defense when, regarding following Martin, the police dispatcher had said “We don’t need you to do that”.

The reporter kept repeating it as if these are magic words and there is no way Z could have been defending himself just because a dispatcher had said they didn’t need him following Martin.

A Witness said Zimmerman had disengaged from Martin, and was standing next to his vehicle, when Martin came back, approaching Zimmerman from behind, and yelled at him (possibly):

“Were you following me?”

to which Zimmerman answered “yes.”

Then Martin, without further adieu, punched Zimmerman in the face, knocking him to the ground, climbed onto him, grabbing his head or hair in some way, and smashing the back of Zimmerman’s head against the concrete or asphalt, while yelling:

“Tonight you are going to die!”, or similar, while Zimmerman screamed for help.

At some point, Zimmerman’s shirt came up, exposing his gun, and Martin and Zimmerman then both tried to grab it. Zimmerman got it and fired once at very close range into the abdomen of Martin, still atop him. Martin fell off or was pushed, and Zimmerman stood up.

Great Summary!

But how and when did they get from standing next to the vehicle to the backyard of the townhouses?

Hopefully mom and dad get the copyright on their son’s name before the HBO movie comes out.

Wonder how much money Trayvon was making selling drugs to get all those gold teeth?

At least it down’t have the kid’s name on it. I hope.

"They've killed my son, and now they're trying to kill his reputation," said Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton.

Well Sybrina, if you would have properly raised your little punk-aSSed thug, things may have turned out different. Presently, all the taxpayers may have to pay for is the burial of another scumbag who most likely would have caused a lot of people anguish and agony instead of supporting his vicious a$$ while in prison.

I'm actually hoping this will be the straw that breaks the obama administration.

I know Texas 911 agency's are a separate entity than law enforcemnet and from what I've seen Fla is the same way, they dispatch to the different agency's but they have no authority.

That’s exactly what Ann Curry did to him this morning. He was extremely cool and classy under the microscope. He was much better than Zimmerman’s lawyer but my husband said that is because the lawyer has to be really careful with what he says.

He was told to cease and desist.

No he wasn't. He was told "OK, you don't need to do that".

See the difference?

So far, nobody really knows what happened in this case and you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. But as the saying goes, you are not entitled to your own facts.

I haven’t been able to locate his headstone and burial place.

I have family buried in those parts and wondered, after I realized it didn’t happen last week.

Yes, if that story is true, he wasn’t the victim, he was the perpetrator — and he was killed in the act of committing a felony.

And Zimmerman is the victim of a brutal attack, who defended himself and killed the criminal.

WHich is sad because so far as we can tell, Martin did not appear to be a violent criminal, and maybe he was provoked, and you know how teenagers are sometimes, and maybe Martin comes from a culture where you have to prove your manhood and he made the mistake of doing so against an armed victim.

Well, here's the eyewitness account of the fight:

Eyewitness: Trayvon attacked Zimmerman

And the depiction of Trayvon is even skewed to make you believe Trayvon is a small child and Zimmerman a hefty mean looking Hispannic, But it's not so.

Trayvon and Zimmer man as shown all over the nation by the MSM:

Trayvon and Zimmerman as they actually look recently:

Maybe they should’ve pondered taking down his twitter and FB accounts before going public since people have already went and copied all of that stuff seeing your son’s own words and actions perhaps then his reputation would’ve have been public knowledge?
