No, it’s not. How many times can it be said that Zimmerman is part of Neighborhood WATCH, not Neighborhood Pursuit. The dispatcher discouraged him from following/looking for Martin. The police had been dispatched.
I’ve asked numerous times, but I can’t get anyone to speculate, what was Zimmerman’s purpose in getting out of his truck?

The fight couldn’t have happened if Zimmerman had stayed in his vehicle as the dispatcher suggested. The police were on their way, according to the dispatcher. What in the heck was Zimmerman going to do anyway?
Given my post above, I'm trying to figure out how you arrive at a brainless comment like "Are you Trayvon's mom?" Isn't it great that you get to post anonymously, so no one knows who you are? What a deal for you.

Why don’t YOU tell me what Zimmerman hoped to gain by getting out and looking for Martin? You know it all. Was he going to arrest him? Was he going to hold him at gunpoint until the police arrived? What did he hope to achieve? Because all he succeeded in doing is making an innocent person, by all accounts, fearful enough for his safety to attack him (it appears). Just the way a mighty man such as yourself would do if someone were dogging you for what turns out to be no reason.

It's obvious that I think your point is lame. From the account in the Florida paper, it seems that the democrat Zimmerman was talking to 911 while he was out of the truck already.

He was returning to the truck when the yute assaulted him.

For you in Rio Linda, let me restate myself at your level: I suspect that Zimmerman is legally guilty of no crime. He does, however, have to live with the fact that this would not have happened if he had remained in his truck and WATCHed.

I can respect your opinion (except for the "ripping" comment). At the same time, the number of people who disagree with me is not an indicator whether my belief is correct or incorrect. We can agree to disagree as to whether he should have gotten out of his truck. What we must agree on is that there would have been no physical altercation if he had remained in his truck.

I do find it interesting that not one FReeper over the last two days has answered my question: What could Zimmerman have hoped to gain by getting out and looking for Martin (with police on the way, per the dispatcher)? No one will offer an answer.

Your question makes no difference. The fact that Zimmerman got out of his truck does not give the thug the right to beat the crap out of him. In fact, that is why Zimmerman was never charged, because a witness attested to this fact.
