That's the symptom (empty Twitter page) that you get if you load the page with JavaScript not really off.

I tried it in both Firefox and Chrome, and I got the same behavior in both with JavaScript on and off. However, once you get past the JavaScript, the page renders better in Firefox.

You may see the cache page flash briefly first. That was the hint I needed to figure out what was happening the first time the phenomenon victimized me.

Another idea (which I haven't tried): Use a command-line utility, such as wget, to download the page to your hard drive. Then go through and disable any JavaScript that came along for the ride. Then you should be able to point your browser at your hard drive directory and load the page. Or you can host the page somewhere, so that it will outlast Google's cache.

I don’t really care if this guy was crying after he killed the guy. I just want there to be a fair and objective investigation. If the grand jury wants him tried, that’s fine. What I hate is all of the BS from folks that have no idea what is going on, the laws of the state, and without taking five minutes to do the simplest research.

Wget allows you to present credentials to a website, but it's a pain, as I recall. And it doesn't get you anywhere you couldn't get using a normal browser.

When I looked at his Facebook page, I was signed in with my Facebook lurker account, but it wouldn't let me see much of anything without being a 'friend'. I imagine they've either scrubbed anything interesting or moved it behind the 'friend' wall.

No, shoot to stop the threat. This is key. As in “I was afraid for my life, and was shooting to stop the threat. That is all I will say until my lawyer is present.”

Note that stopping the threat may indeed require emptying the firearm from your perspective.

Note: I’ve known for a year that the BHO2 administration was going to stir up a race war this coming summer. Anything that can be used to divert attention away from Obama’s atrocious record will be used. We are now getting a taste of it. If George Zimmerman is seized by a black mob and lynched, the result will not be good for BHO2 or this nation.

Actually, I think race riots are the last thing he wants. And that is why he jumped in. The best outcome for him is the Feds being able to throw Zimmerman in prison on some technicality. If Zimmerman goes scot-free (as he probably should, given the local assessment of his lack of culpability), the odds are non-zero that Rodney King style riots could ensue. And that would probably result in a GOP landslide in November, no matter who is nominated.

David Dinkins lost in 1993 to Rudy Giuliani because of the 1991 Crown Heights riots. This is the New York City that voted for Obama over McCain 70% to 30%. Black politicians get votes in part because it is expected that they will keep the (racial) peace. If they’re seen as pouring gasoline on the fire, they’re out on their butts.
