I think you missed my point. Being divorced or thrice married would be a necessary pre-qualification for CA voters. This is why Gingrich might have a shot at winning in CA

Of course not. But Ricky, as you dismissively refer to him, courageously points out the devastating toll of the crumbling American family. Neither socialism nor Ryan budget plans cannot solve the problem of selfish, materialistic, child-abandoning parents. Our nation has a 50 percent divorce rate. Forty percent of babies are born out of wedlock and many will head for the welfare rolls or jail.

The welfare state prospers when the family does not. Kudos to Santorum for pointing out the truth.
