I know there are many Police who understand their role more fully, and I’m immensely grateful for their presence.

I would say though that they are in a minority.

(I’d be prepared to be corrected on that by someone with accurate information.)

How can someone provide accurate information to overturn an opinion that is, itself, not supported by verifiable facts?

Before this turns into a Cop war thread, Threr are many fine cops. I know a few. But when you look at Wisconson and the crap there, the politically run PDs in Chicago, NYC LA and even little Quatrzite AZ, there is indeed corruption on a wide scale and a reason not to give unflinching trust.

Are you sure that those facts are unverifiable, when in fact one could easily Google stories of police officers doing things that violate a person’s rights.

If you make an honest effort to look for such instances, you can see that it does happen.
