Show me one candidate who is willing to put up with the media glare who hasn’t tripped up somewhere.

I personally, prefer Newt, but I know he can’t win. They can show him sitting on a couch with Nan Polosi agreeing with global warming and several other gaffes he has made.
He could out debate Obama with his tongue tied to his left ear without using a teleprompter. But debates won’t win the election with Obama out there in the news everyday campaigning on the taxpayer’s $

Then there’s Saintorum (thanks to the other poster for this nickname)who endorsed Romney “before” he endorsed Obama as well as supporting Spector then losing his state election. If Penn. turned him away as a senator, what makes folks think he can win nationwide????

Or is Ron Paul your guy? I won’t even give him the time to point out his faults.
I want a candidate to get the Federal govt out of my bedroom. Out of my refrigerator, out of my healthcare. And out of my church!
What a state gov passes is not going to cost the fed. govt taxpayer $. You are blaming Romney for what went on in a very liberal state.
You can always move out of a state if you don’t like the way it’s going. I moved from Ca to another state.
If you and others have your way with this election, we may all be trying to move to Mexico after Nov.

If you do like Newt, you would know what he has said about global warming. I see nowhere his accomplishments as Speaker is listed. The other 3rd don't have any!!

Compare that to Mitt's record - mind you MA isn't any more liberal than most and Mitt made it WORSE, more liberal, by being their governor. I see you bought his garbage.

The Federal Government Has Been Bailing Out Romneycare, but Who Will Be Available to Bail Out Obamacare?

July 18, 2011 by Dan Mitchell

The important revelation in this new research is the degree to which the system has been propped up by the federal government (i.e., taxpayers in the rest of the nation).

The federal government has spent an additional $2.418 billion on Medicaid for Massachusetts.

The state has been able to shift the majority of the costs to the federal government.

I am struggling with how to cast my vote if Romney gets the nomination, while praying Newt finds a way through Divine Providence to pull out a victory in a brokered convention.

As several have eloquently stated, it’s waaay past time for the GOP-E to reap the rewards of their actions in perpetually skewing the primary process toward the moderate squish candidate that is “next-in-line” (Dole, McCain, now Romney).

The nation is at a critical junction. Without drastic spending cuts, departmental eliminations (Energy, Education, EPA, NLRB, etc.), wholesale cleaning out of career lib/progressives in State, Defense, etc.), reigning in of the Federal Reserve and Federal Judiciary, our economy is toast, our new job production remains anemic, and our freedoms will continue to erode.

Newt is the ONLY candidate I see willing to make “big” ideas like the above part of his policies, which he has reams of documentation on implementing at his web site.

Romney & Santorum will just take us off the cliff at a slower speed than the dems.

I seriously may go third party or write-in if Romney gets the Republican nod. His record as a conservative is simply abhorent, especially in the promotion of the homosexual agenda. His refusal to debate on conservatie issues/ideals/vision in the various primaries, instead opting to smear his opponents with lies and half-truths, simply should not be rewarded. If these tactics succeed, then there is truly no remaining discernable difference between the dem/progressive party and the GOP-E.

W. Bush set back the conservative cause a couple of decades simply because he refused to draw a bright line between conservative and lib/progressive policies, with the exception of FINALLY taking it to the terrorists, but then he mucked that up with his “nation-building” proclivities.

Obama has done more to energize the conservative, patriotic, constitutional base than any moderate candidates the GOP-E has proferred in the last 15 years.

Perhaps another 4 years of Obama is what is required to get the entire voting public energized and behind a true conservative, constitutional alternative.

God help us all if this is true, but I can’t see a moderate making enough of a difference in our national trajectory to justify holding my nose and voting for them. Especially as it will fuel the MSM/progressive/dem meme that the conservatives are the cause of the coming misery.

Let the dems/MSM/progressives and GOP-E own the coming financial disaster lock, stock, and barrel.
