You’ve shown yourself to lack all reason so why am I posting to you?

Apparently, I lack all reason as well.

I hope Romney is not the nominee but I will certainly vote for him.

While you’re Waiting for Mr. Goodbar and worshipping your own pureness, another term for Obama would ...

You know Rush’s theme song? My City is Gone?

Well, you’ll look up and see My Country is gone.

By the time Obama makes appointments without congress, appoints two more liberal judges, destroys our economy and makes us so weak both literally and in the eyes of our enemies that they do not fear attacking us ... all your virtue will be for nought.

But we’ve kicked this around long enough so let’s declare victory and move on.

I trully fear four more years of an Obama administration. However, I honestly don’t see that one run by Romney would be any better. I don’t trust who he would pick for judgeships (he will go for easy confirms). He will cave to the Dems in congress every time....just like he did as a governor. He cannot help the economy...not really. He won’t do nada to stop our slide into Sodom. Plus, he will convince many that Mormonisn is a legit form of Christianity. No, he isn’t any better.

In fact, after the disaster a Romney administration would be occurred, it would set back ever getting a conservative Republican in office.

Bottom line for me is that my conscience won’t let me support Romney. I’m not waiting for “Mr. Goodbar” as you put it. Both Gingrich and Santorum have serious flaws and are far from “perfect.” However, I would be happy with eithre of them....although I think that in a general election that Newt would eviscerate Obama in debates and be more effective. Santorum is a social conservative like I am primarily. However, I’m not sure the country is socially conservative enough to elect him....however against Obama...one never really knows. I have been surprised how well he has done in Southern States. Whatever, at least he somewhat represents me. Newt, I believe, is a balanced conservative (social, defense, fiscal) where Rick is mostly social & defense. However, I think he, Rick, would swing towards fiscal conservatism to be elected and stay in office.

Romney will sway which ever way the wind blows. He won’t be an effective POTUS anymore than Obama. Also, he will set back conservatism if he is elected. Ergo, I will take my chances by leaving the ballot blank or voting for a third party conservative (if there is one). Principle and message is what matters to me now. Also, focussing on Senate and House seats.
