It’s bad enough that the ever-enterprising `Reverend’ Al is involved. You would think he’d have Korean shopkeepers to persecute.
But for the president of the USA to `stick his oar in,’ now that’s really remarkable and not at all helpful for the matter.
It reminds me of him half-cocked calling the policeman “stupid”. He has really lousy judgment. We knew that, I just didn’t know how bad.
mau-mau (moumou)
tr.v. mau-maued, mau-mau·ing, mau-maus Informal
To attack or denounce vociferously, especially so as to intimidate: “In years past, [the civil rights leadership] ... would mau-mau the government or the corporate sector or the white community” (Joseph Perkins).
[After the Mau Mau, a secret society of Kikuyu terrorists that led a rebellion against the ruling Europeans in **Kenya** in the 1950s, from Kikuyu mau-mau, sound of the voracious gobbling of a **hyena.**]
Get this, “Reverend” Al’s mother just died the other day. I guess fomenting trouble is much more important.
