Wisconsin Target of Illegal Robocalls ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Did anybody here receive one of these calls? I wouldn’t know, because I never answer phone calls unless I know the person calling. Never.
I’ve gotten two of ‘em — one last night and another a few days after the Fluke thing started. I never answer calls on the line they come in on, but they leave voicemail messages.
The ones I get target “Rush Limbaugh Republican” Sean Duffy, my rep., and demand I call him to demand he stop Rush and his “anti-women, anti-family politics” and “vicious attacks against women”. They claim that Duffy supports giving employers “the power to deny women access to birth control coverage”.
The funniest part is at the end, when they say “We are the women of the 99%, and we will not be silenced!”, while they try to silence conservatives without telling me who they really are.
I usually follow the same strategy, but once in a while, just for kicks, I'll answer to see who's behind that "unavailable number." I've gotten 2 of these calls so far when I've ventured forth into "unavailable number" territory.

Vicki McKenna was on this story last week. Said how these calls were illegal and if any of her listeners got them to catch the caller ID of the scumbags. Some called into the show and said the caller ID did not work when the illegal calls were received. She thought she knew where the funding for this came from, I think it was an abortion group like NARAL. It was last week when she discussed this, and I can’t recall for sure the lib group’s name.
