She could have easily thought $9 x 12 = $3000. Hell, a bunch of liberals back in the ‘30s set up the Social Security system using about the same math. If 9 x 12 did equal 3000, grandma’s check wouldn’t be in danger.

Your on the right track but I think the math goes this way.

28years * 12 months * 9.00 = 3024.

She is already 31 or so which probably means she has another 16 year of Partying. Umm Classes to attend.
