My stating there is conflicting information does not detract from my belief that the local law enforcement did a lousy job of handling their “investigation”. But, given your nature of believing yourself to be superior to all others, it’s understandable that you’d miss that.

You know what’s missing here? Have you explained WHY you think it wasn’t a thorough investigation?
What is it you believe should have been done in this investigation, which you believe has not been done?
