“I want someone who can put some wings on the car before it goes over the cliff. Crazy times, but I just don’t see a solution with Mitt.”

The car is going over the cliff anyway.

Think back to “Thelma & Louise”.

Playing the role of Thelma are the democrats, behind the wheel driving full-speed towards the abyss.

Playing Louise are the Republicans, who, in a moment of their greatest intestinal fortitude, push the rats away from the wheel, step on the brakes a little to slow the car down, and then..... keep driving towards the same cliff, only at 40mph.

In the end, what happens?

To quote a well-known Democrat pipe-layer, IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID

When you take an HONEST look at what Romney has accomplished, he’s strong on economics, and has the moral background to do things RIGHT. He has the money, resources, and the connections to pull this off.

My biggest fear, and primary reason for supporting NEWT with both money and time, has been that it’s going to take a REAL SONOFABITCH to both do what needs to be done to overcome the Obama/Gay Media propaganda complex, and to do the hard things it’s going to take to put this country back on the path to prosperity.

Romney hasn’t proven to me he has the stainless steel cajones that are going to be required to stand up against the queer/media/Democrat complex. (Though he has shown brief hints of growing a pair in recent days.)

Winston Churchill was the right man, at the right time, for the crisis his people faced. Newt could be, too.
