Like right before the shot there is a really loud banging. You can here the house shake. That seems like a turning point in the fight to me. When zimmerman has had enough and was going for backup.

At .23 - .30 secs you hear the yellers voice brace for impact from an object.
And hear an object thrown or slammed onto them.
Maybe twice.
911-2 the guy said they where on his porch.
I think this was what changed the situation.
