The discussion is clearly degenerating. I mentioned the height because people are saying not to believe reports, and then citing reports they prefer for the sake of their arguments.
The police report says 6’0”, I don’t see why that is less credible than “later reports in the media.”
But my point was about selectively relying on the media.
A few inches this way or that is ridiculously irrelevant.
Sorry if I did not elaborate. I have a retired highway patrol officer as a source. I asked if measurements were made at the scene. He said, no, the officer just estimates them, measurements are taken later.
I think that 3 inches and 40 lbs could be well within estimation range.
We do not have anyone in the media saying anything other than 140 pounds, but it seems very low for a 6 foot 3 inch teenager. Could be, we just do not know. We do have several reports that Trayvon was 6 foot 3 inches tall.
As it appears that the parents have insisted that his school records be sealed, we may have to wait until the autopsy report to get definite measurements for his height and weight.
It appears important to me because it changes the way that you look at George Zimmerman's defense.
It also says a bit about the credibility of the Martin partisans.
