According to the police report, Martin was 6’0”, not 6’2”.
That is true, but this is the initial report from the scene. They do not take out a tape measure and apply it to the body at the scene. The initial report would be the officers estimate, which seems pretty good, given the later reports in the media that Trayvon was 6' 3".
I also notice that the show George Zimmerman as being 5'9". That might be from his drivers license.
6’-0” vs 6’-2” I musta made a mistake based on an earlier post and newspaper reporting.
The attached link shows the reference to 6’2”, and an embedded link includes a Fox news interview of the witness and 9-11 caller, indicating that Zimmerman was getting the shit kicked out of him on the ground.
Doesn’t exonorate Zimmerman, but maybe Jesse J and Zero best check out some reality before flying to Florida to join the Rev. Sharpton!
