No kidding the media were using old pictures of Martin. That was obvious from the start. Just because the media has an agenda doesn’t make Martin guilty.

My son was suspended from school, for hitting a kid who was harassing him in the bathroom. My son was 6’1 at seventeen. My son was not the sweet-faced little boy he used to be. Did that make him fair game for stalking? And shooting?

I am perfectly aware of the difference between a 13 y.o. and a 17 y.o. They grow up into hulking teenagers. That itself doesn’t make them thieves or assailants.

Hell, Zimmerman was a teenage boy ten years ago. If he had a brain in his self-important little head, he’d have considered how a teenager might react to being stalked.

There is nothing illegal about approaching a stranger in your complex if you are on watch patrol. Its not illegal to follow someone either as long as you don’t threaten them. However it is illegal to physically assault someone to the point that they are forced to shoot you.

Did your son get suspended for then days? Did your attorney refuse to release the reason he was suspended? Did the Congressional Black Caucus, NAACP, Al Sharpton, political whores/media pimps run a campaign to protect him?

All I want is the TRUTH and we aren’t getting both sides of the story because their version of the events fit their political agenda. The shooter is getting the Rush Limbaugh media treatment.

It makes me sick that we can’t get just the FACTS without the MSM running a political campaign on their agenda! The story line goes...whites (even thought the guy is Hispanic) kill blacks because they’re racist, guns are bad (except when gang bangers carry them), cops (& wanna be cops) are all corrupt and racist. Got it?! 24/7 political crap by media whores, period.

Is it possible from the 911 tape to tell exactly who is the one yelling for help?

Maybe they just ran into each other by accident. The kid doubles back after thinking he gave Zimmerman the slip and Zimmerman decides to go back to his car at about the same time so they happen to cross paths. Who knows? It’s hard to envision without a map of the area and an exact timeline.

It’s also weird that the kid laid in the morgue for something like 3 days before being identified. Was no one looking for him? Did he often go missing?

His story about getting out of the car to look at a street sign, in a small neighborhood he’d lived in for years, patrolled for years, is that believable?

See post 122.

There are only three different streets.

If you were ambushed at night and had some guy on your chest beating the crap out of you with blow after blow to your face would you yell for help

Did Mr. Zimmerman give himself the bloody nose? Did he punch himself real well? What about when the cops found Mr. Zimmerman on his back and Trayvon on the ground in the prone position dead after being shot. The cops did show up within a minute or so after the gun was dicharged. The cops also noted that Mr. Zimmerman had wet grass on the back of his body.

If the witnesses had told the cops that Mr. Zimmerman was on top of and beating Trayvon and then shot him in cold blood do you think the cops would have decided arrest and charge Mr. Zimmerman or not?

If you look at the police report it gives the address of the incident as 2831 Retreat View Circle, Sanford, FL 32771. You can look at the satellite photo and listen to the 911 calls so it’ll give you a better idea of what is going on.

“The bottom line is that the police see no reason to arrest Zimmerman.”

The police did more than not arrest him. They gave him the gun back! That is unheard of in a shooting. It’s very possible that they have a weak case now because of all the mistakes that were made at the crime scene. The police screwed up and now they are blaming the “Stand Your Ground” Law to cover themselves.

“There is nothing illegal about approaching a stranger in your complex if you are on watch patrol.”

There is a difference between approaching someone in broad daylight to ask a question and following/chasing someone at night through the rain. The first is civil, the second is belligerent.

Unfortunately Trayvon decided to come back after running away from Mr. Zimmerman and attacked him. If that had not happened Trayvon would have never been shot.

How do you account for the girlfriend's testimony?

Of course, she could be making it up, except for the call timing, which would be not from her, but from the cell carrier.

>>If Zimmerman laid a hand on the kid first, he’s guilty. If the kid kept on walking, and Zimmerman tried to restrain him, he’s guilty. On the other hand, if Zimmerman politely asked what he was doing, and Martin jumped him, then maybe he’s not guilty.

That’s the summary of this case right there, AFAIAC.

According to the police report, Martin was 6’0”, not 6’2”.

That is true, but this is the initial report from the scene. They do not take out a tape measure and apply it to the body at the scene. The initial report would be the officers estimate, which seems pretty good, given the later reports in the media that Trayvon was 6' 3".

I also notice that the show George Zimmerman as being 5'9". That might be from his drivers license.
