First Broncos game I saw was the one when they took their hideous old uniforms out to the 50-yard line at halftime and burned ‘em. (It’s been so long I don’t really remember the exact year.....)

I’ve followed the Broncos (and sometimes bled and cried over ‘em) ever since.

This deal with Tebow......

Well, I’m just going to have to sit and chew on this one for a bit.

Most of the appeal for me over the years is that the Bronco players and coaches were really still just enjoying themselves at playing a game which also paid ‘em a good living.

Tebow might not have been a storybook quarterback, but he did seem to have that same spirit.

Now, it’s all just a business; spirit and love of the game are for suckers.

I’ll keep that thought in mind.

I didn’t know they burned their uniforms! Must have been before I started following them in 1985. I do remember The Drive: I and everyone else on my street ran outside and screamed and did victory dances after the Broncos scored. I’ve always liked John Elway, but I really disagree with this QB swap. I guess I’ll have to wait and see how Manning does, and how Tebow does, like everyone else.

What playing time will Tebow get backing up the great Mark Sanchez? (USC Trojan)
