Rush always goes back to the way of the Establishment republicans. He made excuses for HW Bush and the read my lips (no new taxes) and how he covered for GW Bush for growing the entitlement programs with the liberals. He visits with papa Bush. Brit Hume says there’s a deep grudge with HW and Gingrich. So, explains to me why he hasn’t defended Newt that much (loyalty not because of Newt’s leadership to get things done) Rush is not a man of reforms. he has to keep his base so he threw lots for Ricky.
He knew that would pull votes from Newt. His own little operation chaos. He knows his audience. Didnt you find it odd after Bloody Thursday he did not defend Newt.

I always knew he would be ok with Mitt. Newt and Rick are more conservative than Romney will ever be even with their ups and downs. What a shame we maybe losing a great president in Newt for Mr Imposer. Once Newt is out, you guys knock yourselves selling Romney/Obama-at least Obama is honest of who he is while the other hides as he said I am a stealth candidate to a group of liberals. We are have been played for soooo long.

Remember, in 08 Rush said Romney was the conservative candidate and fully represented all the legs of the conservative stool.

Just because Slick Willie now is starting to sound conservative, doesn't mean anything more than posturing to win over the tea party and the ultra conservatives. Too bad for him, most of the conservatives will never trust Romeny. He is a proven RINO or CINO and will never be a conservative. You can't be buddy with Teddy Kennedy and then expect the conservative base ever believe one word you say.

He was just making comment about Romney’s victory speech, which was a very good speech. I have not heard a commentator from the Right that does not agree with Rush on that. But Rush followed it up with “I just hope he means it.”, then the line if he does mean it, then maybe Romney is the anti-Romney candidate we were waiting for.

We need to keep his comment in full context.

Once coronated GOP winner, Mittens will run to the center like McLame and be trounced in Nov. RINOs suck.

Rush has seen this rodeo. All he’s saying is if the man isn’t LYING, then this SOUNDS like conservatism DESPITE the man’s ENTIRE career as a Massachusetts moderate.

It’s a mess. We don’t have a candidate, and everyone knows it. The left wants to can Obama too, at least the one’s working for a living. They don’t have a candidate.

Both parties make this process feel like a conveyor belt. In fact, I feel like a cow in a chute headed for slaughter.

There’s no left or right anymore. That Utah facility that the NSA built was conceived under W. When Obama took a look at it, he accelerated its development.

I’m not sure there’s a dime’s worth of difference between the establishment parties.

A vote for a third party or staying at home is a vote for Obama. Romney can not possibly be nearly as bad as Obama has been.

Dear Rush,

Romney is a lying scumbag who will say anything to get elected. Don’t trust him, he is a liberal.

Sincerely,

Reaganaut

Because a nice sounding speech could turn a liberal Myth into a conservative reality - BARF!

"Rush Limbaugh says Romney's victory speech last night was his best one yet, he just hopes he means what he said. "Right on, right on. So maybe the conservative alternative to Romney is Romney. Let's hope so. It all boils down to whether he means this. It's that simple," Limbaugh said."

Hey Rush, Look Down...

The two wings of the Government Party offer you the choice of a disorganized and self indulgent megalomaniac leftwing progressive, or the focused and self disciplined megalomaniac leftwing progressive. The organized one -will- accomplish more harm if elected.

Please! Please! please! A very big shout out to the conservative party and to the constitution party, Don’t even ask her just put Sarah Palin on the ballot for your party. That would greatly increase turnout, decrease Romney’s vote count and make the Democrat’s vote fraud more difficult. Considering the strength of those currently running, Palin should be a shoe in.

Wow..
It’s astonishing (and disappointing) how many clueless people decided to post on this thread. Rush “going wobbly”, etc.
I listened to Rush’s show today and after he admitted that Romney talks a good talk, he made it very clear he doesn’t know if Romney can be trusted.

Nothing “wobbly” about Rush.
