I don't see the self-defense argument holding water when he was pursuing this kid around the neighborhood. That's not 'standing your ground'. My guess is that when Zimmerman followed Trayvon, then got out of the car, he decided to try and grab him to detain him. That's when the kid hit him, and Zimmerman shot the kid.
Zimmerman initiated the confrontation, and this wannabe cop killed a kid. He should have listened to the dispatcher.
You realize, of course, that if "your guess" is not based on a logical progression of thought derived from the known facts, that makes YOU a wannabe cop.
So where's you logic, based on what facts?
I agree with you; guys like Zimmerman make lawful gun owners look bad.
